Steve has always been on a quest to balance learning with doing. From the outset of his career, his interests have spanned engineering and design to law and communication, eventually converging in the eclectic world of a creative agency.
With a naturally curious mindset, Steve has cultivated extensive experience across various industries, including automobiles, mobility, energy, culture, retail, FMCG, fast food, finance, and telecommunications.
An advocate for collaboration, Steve has had the opportunity to work alongside immensely talented individuals. Together, they have clinched prestigious awards such as Cannes Lions, Effies, D&AD, One Show, LIA, NYF, Eurobest, ADCE, El Ojo, FIAP, Creative Club of Portugal, among others. This collaborative spirit has also earned Steve multiple nominations for Best Creative Director in the Portuguese Creative Club’s National Ranking.
Additionally, Steve has served as an award jury member at Cannes Lions, D&AD, NYF, ADCE, Eurobest and El Ojo, bringing his expertise and insight to the evaluation of creative works on an international scale.
Currently, he leads the creative teams at Leo Burnett, Publicis and Digitas within Publicis Groupe Portugal, where he spearheads innovative projects and drive creative excellence across multiple platforms.
Born in Brazil, Steve is of Japanese-German descent and holds Portuguese citizenship.
